New Ride

I have been looking for a Harley Road King for years, I am no longer looking. I am the proud owner of a 2002 cruiser. It is not a Harley. For years, I have thought that the only way was the HD. I was swayed to stay on rice on Monday though. A local dealer had a Yamaha Road Star Warrior for sale. I saw it and fell in love. Most Hondas, Suzukis and Yamahas are imitations of the Harley models and look cheap. The Warrior pretty much has it's own style. 1700 Air cooled CC's producing 105 horse power with the stage four kit installed. It is a mean machine. Plus it was about $5000 less then the King I was looking at. Monday was in the 50's so I really had the bug. I didn't end up getting everything finalized until yesterday though. The high was 34. At 5 PM when I went to pick up the bike, it was 31. The guys at Power Brokers offered to load her into their trailer and take it where I needed it. There was no way I was not going to ride that baby out of there. The ride was great, my ears were a little cold, but for some reason I didn't even feel cold on the ride. I just about stayed out a while longer, but I had to go shoot darts last night. I am now going to be bouncing off the walls for the next month or so in anticipation of getting to really crack into that raw power and see what my beautiful girl has to offer. I can only imagine pointing her to the open road and cracking the throttle wide open. I am very excited. I think I might even have to post a picture on the website so that everyone can see my new found joy.
