Touring

So far as plans go for the summer, they appear to be filled with taking trips on the bike. I have already put in the time off request for Sturgis in August and am now also looking at going down to Star Days in Missouri. Yamaha puts on a yearly event for it Star motorcycle owners to get together and see what Yamaha has instore for it line in the future, go on rides and hang out. Terry and Scott have decided that they was to go down and I really do too. I am not sure that I want to take vacation as it is during the middle of the week, they are going Tuesday and coming back Thursday and are going to go to work on Friday, I would not want to do that, I would have to burn 4 days and take Friday off too, who would want to come back to work after being gone to a rally for 3 days. Wow. So I am really debating on whether I want to partake in this time off or not. I have close to 100 hours of vacation right now and with the 3 days for Sturgis it would burn less then 60 hours of what I have right now. Maybe I just need to suck it up and take off, I think it will be a good time. Riding with good friends and a good long road trip to get ready for the big show in August. I probably need to make a decision pretty soon as Terry was going to call and see about hotel reservations last night. As far as Sturgis I asked a friend if she wanted to go and she is thinking about it. I am not sure that she liked the idea that we would be camping as she is pretty high maintenance, ok she is a fucking pre madonna with a little princess mixed in. We will see if she wants to go, I am sure she would have a good time, I just need to convice her.
