I hate junk mail, for some reason I seem to be cursed with even more of it since I moved into my own place. I rarely check the mail, as I only have one bill that I ever have to write a check for. I usually check it once a week, but it has went for up to a month. I check it Monday night when I got home, it had been less then a week, and the mailbox was chocked full of the spam of the 1980's. There really wasn't anything I needed so my paper recycling filled up a lot more.

Sturgis pictures
I have started to post my Sturgis pictures onto Flickr. Follow the link to the right. I have used all of my bandwidth for the month, but there will be more to come. This was one of the best things we saw, between her and the girl in the white.

Hiatus
Sorry for the long pause in my postings, I have had some stuff going on in my life that pretty much stopped my blogging. I will be getting the pictures posted from Stugis here soon and hopefully I will start to make my daily posts again.

Rider Fatalities are Up
An article on Yahoo! about motorcycle rider fatalities rising. Too many yuppies getting their Harley's and not knowing how to ride them.

Sunbathing
From last years trip to the local water park with a couple of girls. I hate the water, but I think it was worth the sacrifice.
Heather
One of my friends took some pictures for me with my camera phone last year. I figured I would post it, you can find more pics of here on my photblog that is llinked.
Two Days
Two days until we are on our way to Sturgis. I have alot of shit to get done tonight and tomorrow night. I will have to buckle down and get it done. I am really ready for the days off though as they are over due. I am not sure how relaxing Sturgis will be, but I am sure it will be fun. The most important thing besides getting to oil changed on the bike, is making sure that I have all of the batteries charged for my camera. I am hoping to get tons of awesome pistures while I am out there. Hopefully my flash memory will be large enough cause I do not want to drag the laptop along.
Tournament
Well we played in the Monopoly tournament on Saturday, it was a pretty good time, although We didn't make it to the second round. Luck was not on my side as I hit the same section 3 times, twice in one round, well the kid had 3 houses on the section and at about $600 a hit, that hurt. Before I started landing on his shit, I had the most property and decent cash, I was just getting ready to start putting houses on my stretch of the board. Oh well, I had a good time and it was for a good cause, so I am not complaining. We did some shopping while we were in Sioux City, and my extreme hate for everything Wal-Mart was reinforced. I think that that store is just a magnet for Circus Folk, Carnies and the like. I am not sure what it is, but no matter where they are located, the draw the toothless inbreeding mouth breathers out like Nascar races, the WWE and Country Music concerts. Even when we were going through the parking lot, some bitch tried to back out of her spot into the car, she was talking on her cell phone, and obviously genetically lacking. I avoided her and proceded to find a spot, as she drove by, she honked and flipped me off. Fuck, if I would have been alolne, I probably would have taken off after her and expressed my true feelings for her stupid cunt ass. Well, after spending entirely too much time in the store from Hell, we got the hell out of there at an extreme rate. Hoping not to have to make a trip to any Wal-Mart for a long time.

Monolopy
This out to be an interesting weekend. We are going to be playing in a Monopoly tournament for charity this weekend. I rember playing the game when I was younger and having a great time. I also remember that it used to take a great deal of time to complete a full game. Hopefully the tournament will ahve some time restrictions set to move play along and maybe even have a time limit on the game itself, the one with the most $$$ after X amount of hours wins. It should be a great weekend anyway. Then two days of work next week and then off to Sturgis.

Goldwing
When we went out to the Motoplex to get an oil filter we saw this old Goldwing, Hoby and I both thought of Dale and the fact that he would want this bike, we were right.
Network
Computers are a wonderful tool, until something goes wrong that is. For some reason Sunday was a hard day on my PC and my network connections got all fucked up. I reloaded drivers, removed hardware and re installed, uninstalled internet security, ran the repair utility on XP. Finally after all that had no effect. I reloaded XP. That meant that I had to reload all of my other software so last night was spent doing just that. It kind of worked out all right though cause we did have a nice thunderstorm so it kept me inside anyway. Well, everything is working again, but I will have to continue to reload my shit over the next few weeks as time allows.

Time
Why is it that there never seems to be enough time in the week, that is at least for the stuff I need to get done around the house. I spend plenty of time at work and always seem to get things done there. I am trying to get so many things done before I take off to Sturgis next weekend that my nights are not relaxing. This weekend I also have plans out of town so I will not be able to work onthe house and things then. I need to get the oil changed in the motorcycle before I take the trip as well as I need to make sure that every thing is working well for the long ride out and back. The forecast says that it is going to thunderstorm tonight so it looks like painting and working on the bike will not happen today. Oh well, I guess I will just have to find something to do inside tonight. Maybe go out and have a few. Yeah, that is the ticket.

Time Off
Next week will bring for me some much needed time off. Sounds like we will be heading out for Sturgis at about 6 AM on Wednesday morning next week. This should be a great time, although we have lost one of our riders due to his father needing surgery and him having to go and help out with that. Next week will probably not have any posts unless I use my cell phone to send them, but I doubt that I will think about it when I am out on the road. I will be taking my camera so there should be some good pictures for me to put up on the blogs.
