Shoot, I missed a day, I know how much my loyal readership misses my glorious writing skills. Well, the week has been pretty good as far as weeks go which is unfortunate for you the reader, nothing has really tripped my trigger for me to tell you about. I guess I can tell you about the movie that I watched on Wednesday as I have not tossed out a review in some time. I happened to catch the film I Robot on HBO. This was a very good flick, I wish I would have found the time to take it in earlier, Hoby www.wasteofcyberspace.com had told me how good it was when he went to see it a long time ago. If you want review of flicks on a more timely basis, by all means check out his site. While I was watching Nip /Tuck on FX Wednesday afternoon, a great show BTW, and off the DVR, they were showing new movies that are coming out this year, one that caught my eye was "Fun With Dick and Jane" it stars Jim Carrey and Jenna Elfman. It looks to be something that we will have to go and see when it hits theaters. It appears that Carreys' character has a good job, but his boss embezzles all the money out of the companies retirement and payroll, well they turn to a life of crime to make ends meet. We will see when it comes out if it really is as funny as it looked in the previews. So in closing, I Robot, if you have not seen it, please do, I am thinking I might have to go out and find the DVD for my library. Until next time, remember "Nothing Says I Love You Like The Shocker"

Wow
Well, yesterday went off without a hitch, for me at least. My friend Eric's car is giving him problems, so I am helping him today to try and get it fixed up. It is pushing my schedule back a little for getting back to my girl. Darts last night saw us winning 8 - 5. That put us 2 games ahead of the team we were trailing, as they were 1 game ahead of us. We are not in the lead though as the other Smoe's team went 10-3 so they are now 2 games ahead. I am not sure how the other teams did, but we were the top three teams. I got my mower back from the repair shop so I will be able to get the yard mowed up in Preston tomorrow.

Tuesday The 27th
For some reason the 27th of September has been a bad day more then a good one. My TransAm was totled a week after my birthday, I hit the deer in my Honda a week after my birthday, and there are a bunch of other little things that have happened on the 27th. I am not sure what it is about this date that makes it bad for me. This year I hope things are different. This morning has already been great as I woke up to my favorite person in the whole world. Doing some picking up arouond the house as B's brother is coming up for the afternoon so I figured we would put our best foot forward. Tonight I have to go home to shoot darts, and make sure my house is still there. I also am hoping that they have my lawn mower repaired so I can bring it up here and get the yard mowed this week, it is getting a little long. The weekend will be a work on the house weekend as I want to get everything done before it gets too cold. At least finish the painting and such on the outside. Once it is all done and my stuff moved out, I will put it up for sale and hope for a quick sale. Well, I suppose I need to go back to work, there is plenty of stuff to do around here.

Monday Morning
Well, it is Monday morning again the start to another week. Seems that the older I get the days just seem shorter and shorter. I remember when I was a kid waiting for the end of school, or holidays, it always just seemed to drag. I had my birthday last week and it really just seems like yesterday that I was just having one. A year just does not seem to take as long, maybe it is because I am dreading my birthday, well lets not say dreading, it is just not as big a deal for me then when I was say in elementary school. I did receive a couple of really good gifts from my girl, and the best gift ever. This weekend brought the opportunity to meet my future brother in law. He made the trip up from Arizona to visit the family, his fiance was unble to make it. B has really been missing him and was glad that he was home, even though it is just going to be a short visit. Sounds like they will be moving back up to this area early next year if everything goes well. His son was also there and I met him for the first time, and found out that they still ahve similar toys to when I was a kid. We played with his transformers for some time, but the best thing that he had was a X-Wing fighter, slightly beat up, but he didn't know what kind of a gold mine he had there. I tried to explain to hi what a find that he had, but alas he is only 6 and could not grasp the concept of the best movies ever made yet, which is weird because I saw the first movie when I was three and StarWars has been a part of my life ever since. B always loves it when I am around the toys and collectables, she gets a kick out of how much of a kid I become. I did add a few to my collection this weekend when we were at Wal-Mart, which as you know is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Well, all in all the weekend was great and next weekend sounds like it will be devoted to working on the house to get it ready to sell. Not looking forward to that, although it will be nice if we can get it all done and on the market. Tomorrow will bring another dart rivalry to life as we will be playing the Brass Rail, well, it is a very good natured rivalry as both bars are owned by the same people and we have a certain comraderie with the other team. I just hope we smoke them as they are one game ahead of us in the standings. It should be fun.

Update
Sorry for not getting an update out. I have been occupied with some things that last two days after my birthday. Well, first we will start out with that. My girl is so good to me, she got me some great hot sauces and the best shirt ever. The shirt has a Shocker and says "Nothing Says I Love You Like The Shocker" She is perfect. Well, we had a nice supper and then went to darts. I really didn't have that great of a night shooting, but we did manage to win 12-1. I told her that she needed to come down again and watch us shoot cause she seemed to bring the team good luck, even though I shot poorly, I still had 3 of the wins. Wednesday we slept late and did some things around my house, mowed the yard and did some shopping. Yesterday was not too eventful, I went to the bank up here and dropped off the bike payment for the month and got stuff to make supper. Tonight I think we are going to go out for pizza and maybe find something else to do when we are in town. This small town living is definetly going to take some getting used to though. We were sitting on the couch last night and there was a nice rucus outside, well she didn't even act like she heard it. I looked out the window and there was a fricken combine rolling down the street we are on. I told her that I have never had a fucking combine roll down any street I lived on before. She laughed. I was serious. Even when I lived in the small town in Utah, it never happened. Although I am not sure what they used to harvest the sand. I am not sure that they grew sand, but there sure was alot of it there. I know they raised something cause they had irrigation setup for their fields. Maybe that is why there were so many tumbleweeds. This weekend will be sort of hectic as her brother is coming up to visit from Arizona, it will be good as I have not yet met him and look forward to it. Her dad has plans for us to go shooting tomorrow while the women folk work on their hair and gossip or whatever they do in their secret society that most men spend their whole life trying to avoid. It is good that her father likes to go shooting cause we really get along because of it. I will have to remember to get some ammo tonight for the big event. Well, as it is Friday you probably will not see an update until Monday have a great weekend and we will talk to you next week.

Birthday
Well, it is my birthday today. Hopefully I can avoid to many shenigans tonight so I don't have the hangover blues tomorrow. Well, about time for my girlfriend to take me out for supper. Then off for a night of darts. It should be fun, just hope that there are not too many shots tonight and I am not talking about darts.

State Government
The state is a wonderful operation. I stopped down at the drivers license exam station to renew, well I found out that they are closed on Monday. I forgot that. At least I have tomorrow, although I have other things I would prefer to do on my birthday. Oh well, I will get it done.
Ouch
Well the cats are home from the surgeries this morning, the boy is taking it pretty good, I am not sure how, but he is managing pretty well for having his balls cut off. I think I would never walk again. The female is visibly sore and does not want to move very much. She has a very small incision though so she should heal up pretty quick. Even feline medicine has made inprovements and I am wondering if they did do her operation with a scope.

Drivers License
I need to remember to get my drivers license renewed. I should have already done it, but for some reason I have procrastinated. It expires on Tuesday when my birthday hits. I guess as I already have to be up on Monday morning to take the cats in for their appointments, I wil just have to head over to the DMV and take care of mine as well.

Fleas
I made a discovery of fleas on the cats last night. I am not sure how they got infested with these little pests as they do not go outside. I got some stuff today to treat this issue. I got some spray to kill right away, some shampoo to get rid of the carcasses and some drops that will keep them away. I sprayed the little bastards tonight, something that they cats really enjoyed. I thought I might lose a couple of fingers. I can't wait until I give them their baths tomorrow, that ought to be pure fun. Since I made the discovery I have felt like things have been crawling all over me. I know that fleas don't particularly like humans, but you know. Well, the problem should be taken care of so I won't have to worry about it. I would like to know how it happened though. The only thing that I can think of is I brought them in on my shoes as there are alot of rabbits running around the area.

Cutting Time
It is time that the newest additions to my family go in to the vet to get cut. I made an appointment to take my two kittens in to get fixed and have their follow up shots. I am sure that they will have a new hatred for the vet, I suppose I would too if my nuts got cut off speaking for the boy that is. I have no reference for the female cat.

Gas Price
With gas prices soaring to over $3.00 a gallon here, I have been trying to avoid driving the truck. The last time I filled up I ended up speding $2.84 as it is dropping back down. I still do not understand why we have been paying so much for gas the last few years. Let's start drilling in Alaska and tap all of the oil that is just waiting for the US to utilize. Why should we go to other countries when we can supply some of our own resources. Oh yeah, cause the bleeding heart liberals want to save a tree or some bird that might happen to get sprayed by some oil. Trees will grow back, and there are plenty of fucking seagulls, hell we can round up the ones around here and send them to Alaska if they accidently kill them off.

Dart Season
Well, dart season is back upon us again. The team looks like it could be really good this year. I did make them aware that I might not make it the whole year as I am looking to move. If and when I do move, it will be difficult as I have shot with these guys for many years.

Review
It has been a while since I have chimed in with a movie review. I watched a pretty good movie last night that I figured I would let you know about. We watched Ray. The story of Ray Charles, It was very good. There was a lot that I did not know. I never realized that he was a drug addict and a player. By the end of the movie I had lost much respect for the man. He was a creative genius as far as his music though and did create some great work. If you have a couple of hours to spare you should check out this fine flick.

IPod
You think that the engineers at Apple would have figured out some time ago how to make the battery in the IPod worth a shit. I figured that since I didn't buy my pod until last year, I would have avoided the problems. I was wrong. Since my truck has an IPod interface installed, the unit rarely comes out. Once in a while if I have new music to sync. Well, I tried to use it to listen to some tunes, and the battery is shit. It has now been on the charger for about 14 hours. I know you can get like a $40 credit from Apple, but you think that if you pay the kind of money for these things, they would just pony up and replace them for no charge.
Sad day
It is truely a sad day. Another Star Wars actor has gone to the force. Michael Sheard who played Admiral Ozzel in "The Empire Strikes Back" died at 65.
