Movin On Up!

I really do not like to move, but for the second time in a year, I am. Over that last 15 years I have helped almost all of my friends move their shit, well now that it is time for me to move, only one has been over to help. I am ok with that as I really do not have all that much stuff and I really didn;t ask anyone else to help. Well we got the trailer loaded and I am at the new house and unloaded over half of what I brought up. I am thinking that I need to unload the rest into the garage as I do not think that I can get most of it moved in the house by myself. My boy is coming up tomorrow and I can get him to help me get everything into the house. Well, it is getting late and I have had a full fun day of loading and unloading the truck.

Finding Time

Well, It appears that I am starting to find some more time which is good cause I seem to be neglecting friends. I think I will try and get the boys together tonight to paint the town red. I could use a good boys night out. The squeeze gave me a free pass for the weekend. Whoo hoo!!

Alive!

In the words of Pearl Jam " Oh yeah yeah oh oh I'm still alive" Sorry that it has been some time since my last update. Just had way too much stuff to do and there is never enough time to get it all done. Well, things are settling down as fall settles in so I hopefully can get back to my daily updates. Next week Star Wars will be out and I will be getting a copy on Tuesday. November also brings the XBox 360 so I imagine that I will be busy with that once get my hands on it. Well, I really don't have too much to say tonight, but I will get these updates flowing again for my loyal readership.

Movie Review

Well, I happened to catch another movie yesterday. The Incredibles was on yesterday and I found time to take it in. All in all I found that this was a good movie, you can't really go wrong with superheroes, even if they are from Disney. The movie had a good story line and good action. I would say that this would be a good flick to view for you and your kids, if you have them and even if you don't. Well, I think I need to end this session a little early as one of the cats just came in here and dropped the mother of all turds in the litterbox and forgot to bury. Maybe after I call in the EPA, OSHA and a haz-mat team I will be able to make another entry. Oh dear lord, someone please dial 911, someone just dropped a stinky bomb!!

Computer Savy

Last weekend it was proven to me that not everyone in this day and age is computer savy. The squeeze and I were talking to my friend Scott and my blog happened to be brought up. Now as long as I have known Scotty, I have realized that he has never been very comfortable with computers and software. He manages to use the basics but he does not like to experiment, you show him how to do it and that is the way it is always done. Anyway, she mentioned the blog and he had this blank look on his face because he had no fucking clue what a blog was, well, as she was trying to explain what it was, he was like, "Why would anyone want to do that?" I still think that she thinks he was joshing her and I never told her that he was really that webtarded that he had never heard of blogging. Well, after she found my blog, she has started her own cause she loves reading my poingant prose, or was that pointless prose. I will have to help her link to Flickr so that she can easily add her pictures to her blog as well. Oh, and as it is October, I can use my Flickr account to add more Sturgis pictures for my loyal viewers, I think I should be able to get most of the Full Throttle pictures out there on this download.

Movie Review

Well, I happened to see a couple of movies over the last few days. Taxi starring Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifa and Redident Evil: Apocalypse starring Mila Jovovich. Taxi is a comedy about Fallons character, a cop who is a terrible driver, he wrecks three cars in like a month and they take his license away. This leads him to hail a cab driven Latifa. Her dream is to drive Nascar, so you know hijinx will ensue. The movie has it's humorous parts and has enough laughs to keep you watching, the best part of the movie are the criminals that they are chasing with their leader played by Gisselle the super model, and them spending a great portion of the film in bikinis and lingerie. If you like light comedy, then you should check it out. The next film is Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I enjoyed this film, but there seemed to be a back story that you should have before you watch it. I myself have not seen the first Resident Evil movie, I am familiar with the games so I had some inkling as to what was going on. This was a good action movie and I have always been a fan of Mila. Enough for the movie reviews. Tuesday we were short one of our players and we dropped the night. I myself had a decent showing, winning three of the four games that we took. I actually shot somewhat respectfully so I am hoping that I will turn the corner and figure out what I was doing wrong.

Anyway

Well, I need to start out by thanking DiBrynee for pointing to an error in my previous post. He is correct is stating that it is Tea Leoni rather then Jenna Elfman that will be in "Fun with Dick and Jane" Thank you for the catch. Don't you have anything better to do? Just kidding. We also have another movie review for you loving fans, I will try not to make any mistakes that will need correction. We took in the flick "White Noise" over the weekend, it was a pretty decent scary type of movie. Michael Keaton plays this complete idiot who basically loses his mind and any sense of family to pursue talking with his dead wife. When he does hear her, he completely ignores what she is really saying and takes it how he thinks it should be. If you have a chick to watch this with, do so as they will be in your lap for most of the film. It is not as good as Saw or the Ring as far as horror / suspense films go, but if you have a couple of hours to kill I would suggest checking it out. On to other things at hand. We went over to my friend Eric's this weekend to try and help him get his Buick, a fine General Motors product, working for him again. Well, he had a game called "Medievil Total War" It is in the same series as "Rome Total War" well, the squeeze decided to start playing it and she pretty much fell in love. I will now have to find this game as I also enjoy playing it and any type of strategy games like that. I also realized that it is a little over a month until the release of "StarWars: Revenge of the Sith" is released, I will be waiting for that to hit the shelves. I will also be waiting for the release of the XBox 360 and will need to find some time to play that once it is released. Tonight our dart team will continue on it's journey for supremacy in the attempt to gain the lead in standings this year. I will have to find a sub for tonight as we will be short a player. I guess I will have to send out an email and try to recruit Dale for the night. Well, I suppose I should get on with my day, we will chat at you tomorrow.
