Well, Christmas is now over and done with. I did some traveling to see friends and family. I think everyone was pleased with the gifts that we got for them. I did alright, got a game for the 360 and some Star Wars collectibles. I hope all of my readers had a Merry Christmas and I want to through out some holday wishes to anyone that knows me and I didn't have the pleasure of talking to in person. Also to my loyal readers a warm holiday greeting as well.

Last Minute Gift Ideas
Well, for some reason, we are still in the process of finding some last minute gifts for family members. I think that the old lady and I have everything that we need, but we are helping her father find a gift for her mother. I think we located it online and got it ordered second day to get it here on time. I wish I would have know about this sooner as I probably could have saved some money and located it locally. I think her dad just realized that he had not found it yet and got desperate. I need to find some time to wrap the presents that I purchased for the weekend. It seems like the time is flying by, it was just Thanksgiving a week ago it seems. Christmas plans are falling into place with some minor hangups, being we have both had our own places to be for the holidays, there is a little friction. I think we will be alright though as we are both being flexible on the holiday plans.

2001 Ford
Here is a picture of the new ride. I had to go with black as they didn't have a decent white truck where I bought it. I think I might look into personalized plates.
New Ride
Well, I decided to break down and replace the Expedition with a new ride over the weekend. I ended up getting a Black F-150 as you can see from the picture that I posted. It has fairly low miles and appears to get better mileage then the Expedition. I test drove about 10 of these before I decided on this one.

Christmas
Well, it is getting close to Christmas, 10 days to be exact. I think I have all of my shopping done for the year, but I probably have forgotten someone. I should find time to wrap the presents that I have purchased to see exactly who I have bought for. I have not really gave a shit about the Thanksgiving and Christmas for many years. I seem to be enjoying the season more. I am in the process of deciding what type of vehicle that I want to purchase to replace the Expedition. I really like the looks of the Mercury Milan, they have some really nice features and it is just a nice looking ride. I would have to buy new and I hate that as you loose $5000 was you drive it off the lot. I also run the issue of putting over 500 miles a week on the new car dor my commute. I might have to buy used for now, I would like another truck, maybe a pick up this time.

RFID
I love my job, we are currently studying how RFID can benefit us for future product lines. This technology is pretty cool and will be the wave of the future. I have not even scratched the surface of what I can do with these tags. I am trying to find all the info I can so if any of my readers can point me to resources it would be great.

No Updates
Sorry for not updating for awhile, the winter weather has slowed me down. I have been busy with clearing snow and also recovering from the roll over accident that I had after the freezing rain and snow storm that we were pounded with. My Expedition was totaled in the accident and now I am tasked with removing all of the electronics that I had installed before the insurance company takes it away. Of course it has been 20 below zero here right now and the truck is sitting outside. That should be some good fun. The accident also claimed the life of my Motorola V710. When I purchased the phone the store that I purchased it at was supposed to add insurance through Verizon incase of loss or distruction. Well, when I called the insurance co and Verizon, I was told that I did not have any coverage. Well, it turns out that I had to replace the phone out of my own pocket. I purchased a new Motorola E815, basically the same phone with a few upgrades. So far I really like it, even more then the 710. We had our Christmas party for my company last weekend, it was a good time. I really enjoy working there. I received the first bonus that I have ever received at any job I have worked. Too bad it had to go to replace a phone I had for only a year.
